Working around the clock, Eurotunnel then swiftly reintroduced two-thirds of the affected tunnel within weeks, thereby increasing its capacity. While it has continued to operate a reduced service as works are completed on the damaged section of the Tunnel, Eurotunnel is set to fully resume operations by mid-February 2009.
